Meet Yolanda
Yolanda has a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DPsych Clin) from the University of Queensland.
She has full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and has been endorsed as a provider of Clinical Psychology services.
She is able to provide psychological services under Medicare’s Better Access initiative.
Yolanda is also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
Yolanda has been committed to enhancing the life fulfillment of her clients over the past fourteen years. She has a strong background in mindfulness and wellbeing. She has conducted research into mindfulness-based interventions for Depressive and Anxiety Disorders comorbid with Substance Use Disorders and presented this research at a national conference. She has also tutored Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, a mindfulness-based therapy, to postgraduate clinical psychology trainees for several years running. Yolanda also has a strong background in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy gained while working in private practice and correctional settings.
